Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme for Young Achievers

The District Collector of Salem said that one can apply for the scholarship under the Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme for Young Achievers on the National Scholarship Portal.In this connection he The press release said:

Other backward, economically backward, backward classes The Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme will be implemented by the Central Government to provide educational assistance to students across the participating countries.

For the year 2024-25, this scholarship is going to be given to the students from Tamil Nadu studying in the schools published on the National Scholarship website.
The annual income limit of parents for this scheme is Rs.2.50 lakh. Last date for students to apply under this scheme is 
last date 15.10.2024.

Last date for educational institutes to verify application date is 31.10.2024.

Update:
Under this scheme, the students who have benefited in the last financial year are requested to go to the link called Renewal Application on the National Scholarship Portal and register the OTR Number (One Time Registration) and renew the application for the year 2024-25.
New:
Under this scheme, students studying in classes 9 and 11 who want to apply fresh in the current year will be selected as beneficiaries based on the marks obtained in classes 8 and 10 respectively and will be given this scholarship. Therefore, students studying in listed schools with 60 percent and above marks will receive OTR Number & Password on the registered mobile number if they enter their Mobile Number and Aadhaar details on the National Education Scholarship website.

It is requested to upload the relevant documents for the scholarship for the year 2024-25 using the above OTR Number and apply for a fresh application.
