Tamil Nadu government orders reduction in prices of M sand, B sand, gravel
The Tamil Nadu government has ordered a reduction in the prices of M sand, B sand and gravel by Rs. 1000. This decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Minister Duraimurugan.
In Tamil Nadu, the prices of M sand, B sand and gravel will be reduced by Rs. 1000, it has been announced.

Earlier, last week, the price was increased by Rs. 1000 per ton, accepting the demand of crusher owners. This was said to have caused discontent among the public and those involved in the construction industry.

In this context, a consultative meeting was held today (April 27) under the chairmanship of Minister Duraimurugan. Many people, including lorry owners and representatives of the association, participated in this. In that regard, an important decision has been taken regarding the price reduction.
In this situation, it has been announced that the prices of M sand, B sand and gravel will be reduced by Rs. 1000, after withdrawing the increased prices.
Apart from this, the seniority amount on ordinary stones has been fixed at Rs. 33 per metric ton.

It is said that this government move is aimed at stabilizing the construction materials market.
